5. The Game Churn

Despite boasting a much longer campaign than Resident Evil 5, Im still sceptical that Resi 6 will yield
that much longer a gameplay experience after you put the campaigns to bed. The Resident Evil franchise has never been one to properly remedy the Game Churn (that important period after a games campaign is over where a player decides whether they will venture into online modes, or trade the game in for something else) and Im not convinced that 6 will see much change in that. Ok so there are online modes (that sort of feel tacked on if Im honest), and admittedly you can play through the entire franchise with a co-op partner, but with so much competition out there for the series any recent Rockstar game or any of the current gen Call of Dutys or Battlefields for example is there really that much hope that youll still be playing Resi 6 after youve clocked the main story? These days, half the focus in a video game is usually dedicated to online multiplayer, and with a title as story oriented as Resident Evil, I just cant see Capcom managing to ever cut the mustard.
