Resident Evil 8 Village: Story & Ending Explained

Mia Winters

Now for all the pain and suffering she has gone through over the past two Resident Evil games, Mia isn't as innocent as most might think. She is a former operative for The Connections, a crime syndicate involved in Bio-Chemical research, money laundering, murder, and a whole bunch more horrible acts. But her life changed forever when she became the caretaker for Eveline.

Eveline being created from samples of the Mold and DNA of Eva, Mother Miranda's long-dead daughter. Though Evaline was able to somewhat control the Mold, The Bakers and Mia, she was considered a failure. That was until Rose was born.

This resulting in Mother Miranda kidnapping Mia and experimenting on her after she and Ethan moved to Europe. And whilst all this was going on, Miranda took the place of Mia and became an almost identical copy of Ethan's wife. Though with a shorter tempter.

Mia is eventually rescued by Chris Redfield, and her and Rose can return to whatever normality is left, though both will always have effects of the Mold within them. After this game it doesn't feel like Mia's hand has been totally played yet and there is sure to be more revelations to come in future games.
