Resident Evil 8 Village: Story & Ending Explained

Lady Dimitrescu And Her Daughters

Resident Evil 8 Dimitrescu
Capcom

One of the Four Lords of the region, Lady Dimitrescu rules over part of the region mainly from her castle. One of the Four experiments that didn't turn out to be a complete failure or a Lycan, Dimitrescu was so close to being an appropriate vessel for Mother Miranda's long-dead daughter, Eva. Though thanks to a hereditary blood disease Miranda had to keep working.

It is this blood disease that is the reason for Dimitrescu's need to consume fresh blood regularly, much like vampires from folk tales of old. And just like Miranda predicted in her records, Dimitrescu's regeneration becomes unstable and she mutates into a humongous creature.

As for the three daughters, Bela, Daniela and Cassandra, they were created by Dimitrescu and took on different abilities of their own. Namely disappearing into a swarm of flies and then reconstructing themselves at will. This form being why they can't be subjected to the cold (which could also be mistaken for the sun). Once they are exposed to the cold, unlike Lady Dimitrescu they can't regenerate as fast and are easily dealt with.
