Wesker’s Superhuman Abilities & Death

Thanks to the Prototype Virus that Wesker was infected with at a young age, to weed out the weak, he eventually gained superhuman abilities that were only unlocked once he was killed back in the Arkley Laboratory. Over the years he only got stronger as he gained accelerated healing as a major benefit from all this. Super strength soon followed and increased speed, which gave him the confidence to take on Alexia Ashford after her T-Veronica transformation.

Though he wouldn’t be in his prime yet he couldn't take down Alexia with just his own abilities. Not long after Rockford Island collapsed, so he wasn’t able to deal with Chris Redfield, but always kept him in the back of his mind.

Once Wesker met Chris again though, he was more powerful than ever. Having almost perfectly bonded with Proto Virus, he had bullet time like reflexes, superior strength and heightened regenerative abilities which now were unmatched. Which meant conventional means (even with a partner) won't be enough to take him down.

Straight out of the Matrix, Wesker could dodge bullets, but what was probably the most impressive feet, was the ability to catch a rocket out the sky. Something that only Tyrans had been able to do in the past. Though the virus fought him for control as he aged, so a serum was needed to keep him in check - PG67A/W. Though thanks to information from Jill Valentine, Chris and Sheva were able to overload Wesker with this, causing him to go into a fit of rage and infect himself with Uroboros.

Only mutating him enough to that he could kill Chris and Sheva, Wesker would eventually fail and end up in the bottom of a volcano, but not after being finished off with a pair of rocks. A signature of the series.
