Introduced much like the cave troll from The Fellowship of the Ring, El Gigante makes short work of the Ganados shepherding it out just as Saddler feared back when they were first developed.
These are mindless beasts and are as much a danger to their creators as they are to Leon - this is why so few were ever produced.
How To Beat:
Saving a dog early on will come in handy when facing El Gigante as it'll serve as a handy distraction for Leon to take advantage of.
They have a basic level of intelligence so can be avoided and tricked rather easily, as is evident when facing two above a pit of lava - the lumbering beats will walk right over the trap door without a care in the world.
