Rock Band 4: 10 Essential Bands That Must Be Included

6. The Jeff Healey Band

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eA5w51hMRg The Blues genre has been sorely misrepresented in both Rock Band and Guitar Hero, with only the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton getting serious attention, and even then you could argue that Vaughan is the only pure Blues artist of the lot there. One man that has certainly not received the attention he deserves is the late, great Jeff Healey. Whether it's his excellent covers of blues classics, such as the band's amazing rendition of Hoochie Coochie Man, or original tracks like Confidence Man and See The Light, there is more than enough in his repertoire to warrant inclusion into the game. Couple this with the fact that he managed to create such exhilarating music despite the fact that he was blind and played with his guitar laid across his lap and you have an artist that deserves recognition. Let's make no bones about it, this is a selection for guitar lovers above all else, so those who favour the bass or drums may not get quite as much of out one of his tracks as they would like. Still, if the game places a bit more of a focus on modern Blues, there are few better places to start. Key Tracks - Hoochie Coochie Man, See The Light, Confidence Man.
