Saints Row IV: 10 Reasons It's Awesome

8. Superpowers

Saints Row IV d The most prominent addition to the Saints Row world is unquestionably superpowers. In this Matrix-like environment, you're able to navigate Steelport in wild and unexpected ways, such as flying, running up buildings, super-sprinting and so on. Furthermore, you're also able to use telekinesis, essentially allowing you to cause even more property damage than in the last game, something I had not in any way thought possible. The 8 superpowers are unlocked and upgraded by visiting Data Cores spread over the city, and various side-missions can be played that will help you to get accustomed to each individual power. Still, the likelihood is that players will stick to, say, three or four superpowers that they get on with the best. Flight and sprinting are absolute must haves, whereas telekinesis, though useful, proves a little trickier to get the hang of.
