How can this game possibly get more awesome? That's right, with the addition of another player to help you double the maximum amount of property damage. Though the co-op might be simple in terms of not really changing the gameplay up all that much, it is totally effective in its simplicity, and ensures that Saints Row IV will become another great game to play round your buddies' house with a few beers, or over Xbox Live and PSN. If it only ups the ante by increasing the number of enemies and, therefore, the scale of the destruction, the co-op multiplayer is extremely effective at making the campaign feel more diverse. Whereas the single-player equivalent proves
slightly draining by the end, having someone to soldier through with you certainly adds to the fun. If you've got a mate with the same level of dedication as yourself, multiplayer is absolutely the way to go.
