Sekiro: 11 MAJOR Changes That Will Shock Dark Souls Fans
6. No More Character Customisation/"Fashion Souls"
To be honest, every time I've spent hours upon hours designing a character's face in a Soulsborne game... they always get covered up by helmets or random garb anyway. Such is the curse of the RPG across the board, but in Sekiro, all that stuff is discarded regardless.
It means no more "Fashion Souls" for the community showing off their flame-tinged capes or demonically mossy mage robes. Sekiro's Wolf comes with a defined costume, and unless there are more unlockables no one has seen yet, he's in it for the majority of the game.
This naturally extends to his face, hair and general features. We're playing as a proper fleshed out character for the first time in one of these games from FromSoftware, and with that comes the need to nail down aesthetics across the board.
Even better/worse, depending on where you stand...
