Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - Every Ending Explained (And How To Get Them)
1. Return - Ending Explained
By far the trickiest to accomplish, Sekiro's final, secret ending is also its best. After jumping through so many hoops, you'll finally be able to save everyone... kinda. After giving Kuro both versions of the tears, the Divine Child will be able to act as a cradle for his power (thanks to chowing down on the two snake hearts you have her). This frees the Lord of the curse, and also transports his soul to a higher plane.
With his job finished, Sekiro and the Divine Child set out for one final mission: travel west to the birthplace of the Divine Dragon. With the two still connected to the immortality curse, the game ends on the cliffhanger of the two attempting to 'sever their ties to fate', whatever that means.
Should the game get a sequel, this will probably be where it picks up, and, quite honestly, I'm already chomping at the bit to see what the birthplace of a creature as strange and majestic as the Divine Dragon looks like.
