Shadow Of War: 12 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
8. How To Use The Fighting Pits More Efficiently
The Fighting Pits are easily one of the coolest features in Shadow of War - the a very idea of your finest orcs battling it out against the game's randomly generated creations with only the A.I. governing their animations is some pure Injustice 2-style shenanigans.
However, although you can command any recently captured Captain to infiltrate the upper echelons of a fortress as an assassin, you'll forever be returning to the same location (the actual fighting pits themselves) for the region to trigger each fight itself.
To get around this, capture your orcs and turn them to your side, but wait to assign missions until you're literally standing in place at the pits. Once you're there, hit up the Army screen and then tell your orcs who's fighting who. The mission will appear right next to you, and you can play it out.
Rinse repeat for all your respective captured orcs and you'll save a TON of time running to and fro. Just remember: Capture/dominate as many orcs as you need first, then fight second.
