Silent Hills: 10 Big Rumours You Need To Know

4. Kojima Might Recruit Akira Yamaoka

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUIZpcAnqik Team Silent disbanded after releasing Silent Hill 4: The Room, and since then the series has never quite felt the same. Admittedly, this one might seem slightly farfetched, but the thought of Kojima collaborating with the original developers is still captivating, even if it is just with one member. Thanks to Twitter, we can see developers converse with one another, often brainstorming ideas for video games or expressing casual interest in collaborating. Such is the case with series' well known composer, Akira Yamaoka. Upon confirmation of Silent Hills€™ existence, fans have bombarded Yamaoka with Tweets concerning his possible involvement. While he obviously has to play coy, he did provide one interesting response to My Silent Hill: €œIt's still undecided about it. Sure, be happy to!" Keep in mind that Yamaoka has worked with the series up until Silent Hill: Downpour. Not even he was able to save the series from being tarnished, and he now works for Lollipop Chainsaw-chaps Grasshopper Manufacturer. Still, considering he seems to have some passion left for the series, Kojima might be wise to at least hire him as a consultant.
