The Sims 4: 10 Crazy Secrets (That You Totally Have To Check Out)
3. Cheat Codes
Cheating is a time-honoured tradition in the Sims series, and it's good to see that EA has allowed this to continue in the fourth iteration (the idea of Sims 4 Cheats DLC is enough to make any fan retch). Even better, many of the codes themselves are throwbacks to classic Sims cheats, which is sure to trigger fond nostalgia in any players of the originals. Just in case you missed it the first couple of times, open the console by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+C or COMMAND + SHIFT+C. Once the box is open, there are a range of different codes that you can try out. For example, typing in "rosebud" will give you 1,000 Simoleons, "motherlode" will give you 50,000 Simoleons, and "|Death.toggle" makes it so that your sims will never die. Best of all, "FreeRealEstate on" will make it so that every home and neighbourhood is totally free for you to play with.
