Skyrim director Todd Howard has told Wired that their latest Elder Scrolls title features a never-ending gaming experience, one capable of delivering an infinite number of new scenario's. He says;
€œThe vibe of the game is that it€™s something that you can play forever, The world is probably the one thing that sets apart from other games,€ he said. €œIt feels really real for what it is€It€™s just fun to explore.€
Skyrim is setup so it will randomly create new adventures for gamers based on their progress. An example that is used is that an innkeeper sets you on a task to hunt for bandits in an unexplored cave whilst you are collecting plant matter for an alchemist.
