Skyrim Special Edition: 15 Mods That Must Come To PS4 & Xbox One

6. Better Combat AI

With the amount of time we've spent clashing with the denizens of Skyrim, most of us have got combat down to a tee by this point, and sussed out enemies' abilities and limited attack patterns to the point that they're just not that much of a threat anymore.

This mod revamps the game's combat AI, not only adjusting which creatures and people are likely to attack you (sabre tooth cats, mudcrabs and horkers are much like likely to attack in groups than solo, for example), but also improving attack tactics of NPCs.

So expect more power attacks when you're staggered, better-timed blocking, and a greater tendency for enemies to pick up better weapons lying on the ground.

There are countless smaller tweaks in this mod too that will help redefine your Skyrim combat experience, making it tougher and all-round more interesting.
