Sony Making Fighting Game in Style of Super Smash Bros?

While the source of the rumour has refused to give away the game's title, developer, publisher, or even how they found out this information, the concept of what they are suggesting is certainly mouth-watering

According to the Paul Gale Network, Sony are working on a surprise PlayStation 3 game. While the site has refused to give away the game's title, developer, publisher, or even how they found out this information, the concept of what they are suggesting is certainly mouth-watering. Ready for it? Sony are working on a fighting game in the style of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros! For the uninitiated (shame on you), Smash Bros is a 2D beat-'em-up featuring the most popular characters from the Nintendo universe, who then slug it out among themselves. In Sony's version, we can apparently expect colourful characters such as Kratos, Sly Cooper, Nathan Drake, Fat Princess, Parappa, Sweet Tooth, and Killzone's Rico. Some of the stages are said to include Misty Island from Jak & Daxter and a Little Big Planet-style stage which is littered with weird and wonderful objects. Paul Gale is currently a writer for bitmob.com, and has featured in plenty of video-game shows, publications and websites. A regular at major gaming events such as E3, he claims to be well connected in the gaming industry. He wouldn't lie about an amazing idea like this, would he? If this wonderful claim that Sony is making its own Smash Bros equivalent is true, what would you like to see featured in the game?
