South Park: The Fractured But Whole - 11 Most Offensive Moments You Need To See

11. Your Race Determines The Game's "Difficulty"

The game wastes no time serving up gloriously offensive, razor-sharp satire, as when you're asked to select your preferred difficulty level at the start of the game, it appears in the form of a slider tied to your character's race.

The easiest difficulty is pale white, while "Very Difficult" requires your character's skin colour to be black, and pre-release Matt Stone and Trey Parker stated that playing as a black character would result in other characters talking to you differently, and loot drops would also be less bountiful.

As it turned out, this difficulty slider is actually a joke and doesn't really affect anything in-game: the only difficulty that can be adjusted is combat, which is in no way tied to race.

It's a shame Stone and Parker didn't go the whole hog with this one, but it's still an insane way to start the game regardless.
