If you're a fan of the series, you totally owe it to yourself to play this game. It's not perfect for sure: it could use some patching and it doesn't quite reach the original's brilliant heights, but as an effectively 20-hour South Park movie, it delivers practically everything fans could possibly want.

Mileage will vary a little on those who don't watch the show, given the game largely trading on the show's long-running gags, but you certainly don't need to be a hardcore South Park obsessive to have an absolute blast with it.

So, was The Fractured but Whole worth the almost four-year wait? Absolutely, and it goes without saying that the clock is already running for the inevitable third game.

What do you think of The Fractured but Whole so far? Shout it out in the comments!
