5. The Surprisingly Satisfying Progression System

Another great area of improvement from The Stick of Truth is the general progression system, which most prominently revolves around players collecting artifacts which can be assigned to slots to increase your might.

Finding, buying and crafting these trinkets quickly becomes incredibly addictive, and seeing your might soar into the late-hundreds is an extremely satisfying feeling.

That's without mentioning the performance-enhancing DNA strands you can pick up, and the intermittent ability to add another class of warrior to your repertoire, ensuring you'll become a very, very weird hybrid by game's end.

While the previous game's progression felt rather linear and boxed-in, here it feels much more free-wheeling and rewarding, even if it's still miles away from most "normal" RPGs.
