Spider-Man 2: 10 Villain Boss Fights We Need To See

4. Big Wheel

Spider-Man 2 Venom
Marvel Comics

Yes, Big Wheel. I am being 100% serious. Put Big Wheel in Spider-Man 2, please and thank you.

One of the best things about Insomniac's depiction of the wall-crawler has been how its balanced emotional maturity with moments of levity, which, when you think about it, is sort of the essence of Spidey's comics.

Players have seen serious encounters with the likes of Rhino and Scorpion, but they've also had to fight Screwball and an easily wound up Vulture. Humour is fundamental to any Spidey encounter, and while Big Wheel in principle wasn't designed as a joke, the idea of a man who uses a literal big wheel to terrorise his enemies - and just... decided to call himself 'Big Wheel' too - is genuinely hilarious.

That aside, there are intriguing gameplay possibilities with Big Wheel too. A mission where Miles and Peter have to chase the Wheel through New York could be fun, and would make use of the Big Wheel Easter egg included in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
