17. BKLYNSPIDER42
Like Peter, in the game menu, Miles has a social media presence but eagle-eyed players will have spotted that his username also contains a little hidden reference. The number 42 appeared through the 2018 hit, Into the Spider-verse, and it's no coincidence that Miles' username ends with the same number.
A lot of fans thought that it had something to do with Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, with the number 42 being the "answer" to life, the universe and everything else, but the film's directors confirmed that wasn't the case. It is actually a reference to baseball player, Jackie Robinson.
Speaking to Business Insider, director Peter Ramsey said "Forty-two was Jackie Robinson's jersey number for the Brooklyn Dodgers. He was a barrier-smashing Black superhero in baseball and [Miles is a] color-smashing Black superhero in Spider-Man comics."
