Spider-Man PS4: 10 Cool Locations & Secrets You Must Find
8. Oscorp's 'Symbiosis'
Symbiotes, as previously mentioned on this list, steal a lot of the limelight when it comes to in-game secrets and easter eggs. And while everyone can remember Yuri’s ‘black and white suit’ quip, Eddie Brock’s signature, and the memorable post-credits stinger regarding the origins of the Venom symbiote, even fewer can claim to have noticed this hidden-in-plain sight reference to everybody’s favourite slimey black alien.
Another secret tucked away in a Mary Jane stealth mission can be found among the various Oscorp flairs and adornments decorating Grand Central Terminal in the mission ‘The One That Got Away’. Among all the demos and plinths advertising Oscorp products such as invisibility tech and a not-so-subtle hint at future gliding apparatus, is a banner advertising ‘Symbiosis’.
Any fan of Spider-Man will instantly pick up on the connotations of the word ‘Symbiosis’ immediately. A secret made better in hindsight, considering the post-credits stinger show that the Symbiotes in Insomniac’s universe may have been born at Norman’s Osborn’s hand, this right-under-your-nose reference builds the case even more for Venom to make his PS4 debut in a sequel.
