4. Superior Spider-Man

While many people still refuse to admit that there was any merit in the Superior Spider-Man story, it's far more difficult to argue that the signature suit wasn't one of the coolest we've ever seen. The ragged webs and darker colouring was a perfect and immediate signifier of who was really beneath the mask.

There are a number of ways that a Superior suit could have gameplay implications as an unlockable feature. The game could simply take us along the route of having this Spidey fight more aggressively, but there's definitely a cooler option than that.

Otto's Spider-Suit was full of gadgets and tools, so some unique combat options would be excellent in post-game features. We can expect combat combos and finishing moves to be unlockable throughout the game, but adding a personalised Superior set to this - including traps and the use of the additional arms - would be a true treat.
