During one encounter with Taskmaster, where Spidey is forced to rescue a person of interest from a group of mercenaries, the hooded villain reveals that the figure belongs to the Roxxon Energy Corporation.
In the comics Roxxon are a sinister organisation who have a hand in creating a bunch of Marvel villains, so the fact they exist is sure to spell trouble for Spidey further down the line.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
