Following on from one of the few redeeming features of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game, players will get the opportunity to explore Peter's apartment in Insomniac's title. Fans have already spotted a number of Easter Eggs alluding to the wider Spidey mythos, including one newspaper clipping making reference to one Max Dillon - the villainous Electro.
Electro has appeared in countless Spider-Man games over the years, so it should come as no surprise that he's at least been referenced (in passing) in this latest interpretation of the web-head's world.
With the character's presence confirmed curtesy of a background Easter Egg, it wouldn't be disingenuous to assume that he probably won't play a prominent role in the story. Irrespective of that however, it's just great to see that he exists in the universe.

In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
