10. Skywalker Sound Making Its Presence Known
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjqqwZGNHPg Although tiresome by the time the third developer diary rolled around, DICE's diligence when it came to adapting a universe treasured by so many has certainly shown its worth, as their much-celebrated access to Skywalker Sound has really cranked Battlefront's level of immersion all the way up to 11. X-Wings, TIE-Fighters, lightsabers, blasters and much more all sound indistinguishable from their on-screen counterparts, which is a testament to the level of quality that DICE have managed to achieve with their sound work. The slow lumbering movements of Imperial Walkers appear increasingly more ominous when their stomps echo across the map area, and the screeching of TIEs buzzing overhead are equally sinister too. It's an element more often overlooked than admired in a fair amount of games, but the developers' much appreciated experience with their Battlefield series has probably done a lot to help make Battlefront sound as good as it does today.
