Star Wars Battlefront 2: 10 Things DICE Must Add
2. Galactic Conquest
A classic turn-based strategy mode that could (and very much should) make a return in EA's Battlefront 2. The objective is simple, and does exactly what it says on the tin: Pick a side, whether it be the Empire, CIS or even Rebellion, to reclaim systems and bring peace to the galaxy - or rule it with an iron fist.
With each planet that is captured a reward will follow, such as elite training or sabotage, which will help give the edge on the literal battlefront. Eventually building to conquering the enemy's home planet, in 2005's Battlefront 2 this mode was expanded on, as credits and specific battles became key to victory.
While it seems like a lot for DICE to add, all it would really require is a few menu screens and a planetary map to get going, with base gameplay serving as the core gameplay.
Even Empire at War had this mode, so come on DICE, it should be a priority.
