Star Wars Battlefront 2: 10 Things Fans Need To See
1. 'Operations', In The Style Of Battlefield 1
Battlefield 1's multiplayer is just superb. Hectic? Sure. Chaotic? By all means. But it's still insanely fun, and nowhere is that best represented than in the title's stellar 'Operations' mode.
Operations are basically just glorified Rush/Conquest matches that can last hours at a time, charging an attacking force with, well, attacking, and a defending force with stopping their advance. They're grand in scale, absorbing from start to finish, and typify everything that's good in Battlefield's history.
Considering the scale of Star Wars is just a smidge grander than that of the First World War's, surely there's a chance for bigger, even longer operations to make their way to Battlefront?
It may come as some surprise, but they already have, sort of. The Death Star DLC, botched as it was, had a tiered structure in much the same way that Battlefield 1's operations did. If it was carried out in a similar manner to Battlefield's, on a grander scale and with a more refined depth of gameplay, then it could, by all means, potentially make for the most authentic Star Wars title yet.
You could literally live the movies, and at the end of the day, isn't that all we really want?
