Star Wars Battlefront 2: 10 Things Fans Need To See
3. Remakes Of Fan-Favourite Maps
Everyone (and I do mean everyone) loves Pandemic's Battlefront titles, so any decision to procure a copy of the series' latest incarnation is always going to be influenced, to a degree, by nostalgia.
Far be it from EA to miss out on an opportunity to make money (ignoring for a second their disastrous fudging of Titanfall 2's release), it would make sense for them to channel said nostalgia into monetary gain, by you know, bringing the maps back for the franchise's current-gen iteration.
If I were to choose any locations to bring back for Battlefront II, they would have to be Bespin Platforms and Rhen Var harbour. Kashyyyk would make for a pretty fantastic addition as well, but the inclusion of other maps are a tad dependant on whether or not prequel content gets added, which, as we've already established, isn't really the business of Disney right now.
Still, there's nothing to stop DICE resurrecting some golden oldies in time for a sequel. Bonus points to the studio if they're not a pre-order bonus.
