Star Wars Battlefront 2: 8 Major New Details You Need To Know

7. Fondor Shipyard Is A New Playable Map

Although there are some maps you can bank on being included in every Battlefront game - Hoth and Endor probably being the biggest two - it seems as though the latest sequel is thinking outside the box when it comes to its level choices.

We already know that the likes of Takodana and Kamino have been selected as backdrops for the game's multiplayer, but now it's been revealed that the Fondor Shipyard has also been chosen as a map for the game's Starfighter Assault mode.

What's more interesting is that Fondor isn't actually shown at any point during the films themselves, indicating that DICE is casting an even wider net than we thought when it comes to choosing elements of the Star Wars universe to include in the game.
