We already know that Poe Dameron's X-Wing is one of the hero ships available to pilot in the new Starfighter Assault mode, but the question on everyone's mind when they saw the above screenshot was whether or not the ship was flying through Starkiller Base.

It's already been stated that the campaign of Battlefront 2 will begin after the defeat of the Empire in Return of the Jedi and progress up until the events of The Force Awakens, but that doesn't stop the game from moving into the territory of the new trilogy in its final act.

Plus, the developers have announced that there'll be playable characters other than newcomer Iden Versio in the campaign like Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren, so there's no reason why players couldn't also get their hands on Poe to recreate his charge on Starkiller Base from the end of Episode VII.
