4. It Looks & Sounds Fantastic

Yes, there will be those who rightly complain about the game's chromatic aberration and vignetting, but for the majority of players, Battlefront 2 will be widely appreciated as a gorgeous visual feast.

The original game remains one of the best-looking online shooter titles to date, and though this sequel doesn't represent a huge technical leap by any means, it is at least consistently beautiful and immensely faithful to the look and feel of the Star Wars world.

It also sounds great, from the use of signature Star Wars music to the solid voice acting throughout and, yes, those ever-familiar franchise sound effects.

For all its problems, the game is at least technically impressive, and for many that will be one of the major selling points.
