Star Wars Battlefront 2 Reviews: 11 Early Reactions You Need To Know

3. The Heroes Are Imbalanced In Multiplayer

Heroes and villains have been completely overhauled for Battlefront 2’s multiplayer. While in the original anyone lucky enough to become a hero could instantly tear up the battlefield no matter who they chose, in the sequel you actually have to play smartly to cause mayhem for other players, rather than resorting to cheap button spamming tactics.

The system isn’t quite where it needs to be yet though, and early impressions have indicated that while heroes like Rey can be deadly when used right but effectively taken down by smart players, others like Yoda are complete menaces that suck the fun out of multiplayer matches.

A misstep like this can easily be patched out and balanced properly in future updates, but it doesn’t change the fact that those picking the game up at launch are probably going to come to resent certain characters.
