Not long ago, at a gaming convention a plane ride away... For some people E3 was about the PS4 vs the Xbox One and the DRM policies which came with it. For those of us who never gave up hope it came down to one moment. One essential moment which we'd been anticipating for over seven long years now, the moment when DICE revealed that they would be developing the new Star Wars: Battlefront. While DICE have said that it will not be Star Wars: Battlefront III it is still a new step in the Battlefront series and after all this waiting it'd better be amazing. Though long awaited games in the last decade have taught us that perhaps certain franchises should die, putting this one on the "should not finish" shelf is out of the question. It's Battlefront, how can that be messed up? On second thought don't answer that. The long awaited sequel and third installment to the Battlefront series is being developed by veterans of the first person genre, DICE, creators of the hugely popular and massively online shooter series Battlefield. DICE are a studio who, presumably, know what they're doing when it comes to first person shooters, having made one of the biggest contenders on the market. For us fans, it's safe to assume Battlefront is in good hands. EA game boss, Patrick Söderlund said that the game would be; "DICEs interpretation of what Battlefront should be." we know that it won't just be Battlefield with lasers and X-wings instead of jets. The E3 trailer might not have shown us much but we know that the balance to the force may yet be restored. With that in mind here's a list of the top 10 maps that should make a welcome return or first appearance in the new Battlefront game.
