Star Wars Battlefront 3: 10 Ways It Can Save The Franchise
1. Never Include Microtransactions Again
Frankly it's disgusting that EA ever thought that this could be included in a triple A release, let alone to the insulting degree that it was in Battlefront 2. Give the players some faith and get rid of microtransactions altogether.
The fact that EA removed the loot crates for two whole months indicates that they're at least aware of how badly received they were in Battlefront 2, even if they've now reversed it and made it purely cosmetic.
Even though Battlefront 2 now only features cosmetic crates, they can still be bought with microtransactions which means the problem isn't truly gone, only a little bit improved.
For Battlefront 3, EA needs to ensure that there are no types of microtransactions or loot crates in the game, and there are no sly ways of trying to get the player to pay more than the base price.
The fact that Governments had to be involved because the loot crates in this game were so bad is evidence enough that if Battlefront 3 pulls this stunt again, it'll absolutely sink the series. Don't make the same mistake twice EA.
