4. Weapon & Vehicle Upgrades

Although you can upgrade your star cards and hand items (albeit only once), there is no such upgrade or advancement system for blasters, rifles, shotguns and vehicles. DICE are also the team behind the Battlefield series (go figure), those games have a really well-structured upgrade and perk system allowing pretty well every aspect of every weapon and every vehicle to be changed, altered and upgraded to the hearts desire. Funnily enough, being able to decrease your cooldown time for a grenade once doesn't quite match it in terms of flexibility and drawing power. Players want to be able to customise and mould their own gear to suit their individual game play style, if anything, just to simply upgrade and create a more powerful weapon to cut loose with is enough. Similarly with vehicles, the aforementioned Battlefield series has everything from the casing of your helicopter missiles, to the colour of your jet ski. An upgrade system done right would add so many more layers to the game and how players progress through levels.
