5. Show Technological Advances
Despite taking place a long time ago, Star Wars' sic-fi credentials are pretty much unmatched when it comes to amazing creations - though some technological advances wouldn't go amiss. Things like lightsabers, hyperdrives, and planet-killing lasers have all fascinated legions of Star Wars fans in the past, but little has been done to show the progression of technology across the timeline. With Episode VII being the first true Star Wars sequel to the original trilogy (and taking place thirty years after no less), logic would dictate that the New Republic will have made a few advances of their own. Obviously its hard to improve upon what's already seen as the pinnacle of technological advancement, but some new creations wouldn't go amiss. Giving more toys for players to jump into a Battlefront sandbox with is a must to prevent gameplay from getting stale overtime.
