Star Wars Battlefront: 8 Perfect Ways To Tie Into Episode VII

2. Depict The Birth Of The Imperial Remnant

Supported by old war lords and ex-imperial officers, the origins of the now very much alive the Imperial Remnant are is up in the air with the new expanded universe taking precedent. The Remnant was always a key opposing force in the old EU canon, and as its presence is confirmed in the new one it would be a shame to leave the force's roots unexplored. Like the 501st Campaign from the second Battlefront, taking on the role of a senior stormtrooper would give the next Battlefront's campaign a great deal of substance that the first entry lacked (though didn't always strive for), especially if a more sympathetic take was given on the men and women that stayed with the Empire even after its defeat. This request may not be achievable depending on just how long the Remnant has been active by the time of The Force Awakens, but if its been operating for a while in the thirty year period after ROTJ then it's definitely a storyline DICE can't afford to overlook.
