1. The Force Awakens
There was a new Star Wars film out recently, you know? I mean, it was all pretty hush hush, but the Star Wars universe grew from six feature films to seven? Yeah... EA apparently haven't noticed. They rode the back of the Star Wars hype train, and the free Battle Of Jakku DLC gave a teaser for what could've been the beginning of more Force Awakens content. But apparently that's it. Reports suggest EA will focus heavily on the original films, which is a huge disappointment considering I'd love nothing more than to dash around the planets as Rey or Finn, pilot ships as Poe, terrorise the galaxy as Kylo Ren or Captain Phasma, and generally just look at BB-8 forever. It seems like a massive shame to overlook the new branch of the series, but could that suggest it's being stored up for something bigger? It has been confirmed that Battlefront will launch sequels, so theoretically, they may be thinking about launching a second game to coincide with Episode VIII (in two years) also factoring in the prequels, followed by a third instalment to tie-in with Episode IX. By that point, material from the entire new trilogy could be used, so it does make the most sense if they're sticking to a three film rule - however we'd much rather it dropped later in 2016, instead of waiting another three years. What do you want to see in Star Wars Battlefront? Which characters, levels and more would make it even better?
