Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - 8 Beloved Characters Who Must Appear

Maul’s cameo appearance in Solo: A Star Wars Story blew the universe wide open. It offered interesting insight into the former Darth’s activities after he failed to defeat Sidious in The Clone Wars, before he returned as a more broken older man in the Rebels Season 2 finale. The idea that Maul would again start to build an underworld empire is a compelling one.

We may never find out on film, but besides that, where can Maul’s story truly go? He can’t really do anything worthy of a movie. His return was told in Clone Wars, and both his end and his long-awaited rematch with Obi-Wan Kenobi was shown in Rebels. Anything else is just filler.

Jedi: Fallen Order is a perfect way to tie up the loose ends in Maul’s criminal career. The game should make use of the Star Wars underworld, now that the Jedi are hunted criminals (because where else are they going to hide) - and the fact that there’s an ex-Sith Lord waiting in the shadows for them, with a lot of backstory to fill, should make for a fun encounter.
