Suda51 Announces New Game LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW

has announced his next project Lollipop Chainsaw. This will be another zombie game with a twist - you will be a scantly clad cheerleader and blood sprays will be replaced by pink rays of light. Says Suda;

"When it comes to gore, we can certainly go that way if we want, but we wanted to give the game more of a 'pop' feel."

In addition, Akira Yamaoka who has worked on past Suda51 projects will once again return to do the soundtrack for this game as well. According to Suda51 the game is already 70% complete and has found a publisher for both US and EU but will announce who it is later. I love Suda 51 and all the craziness he brings to the gaming industry, unfortunately his games tend to get overlooked and don't sell very well. If you haven't tried any of his games I recommend you doing so immediately. Suda51 games are some of the most unique and fun games out on the market right now and deserve more attention than they normally get. No release date set.
