Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League - 10 Things It Must Do
9. Deliver On The Promise Of 'Killing The Justice League'
The leak that spawned this entire idea that Rocksteady may be developing a Suicide Squad game was made up of three leaked domain names: 'GothamKnightsGame.com', 'SuicideSquadGame.com', and 'SuicideSquadKillTheJusticeLeague.com'.
The last of these domain names suggests that the Suicide Squad game will centre around the premise of Task Force X taking on the League in the vein of 2016's Justice League vs. Suicide Squad comic, and also seems in keeping with the notion of a shared DC game universe that WB seems to be building towards.
Yet, having such a tagline and focus would be rather pointless if the game itself did not go all the way on delivering an experience that gives players the ability to fight in epic battles against some of pop culture's biggest icons.
So, the solution is simple: either the game has to go all the way and sacrifice at least some League members (even if Amanda Waller eventually forces the two teams to work together for the greater good), or it has to ditch this premise in its entirety. Committing one way or another would just make for a more satisfying experience.
