8. You Can Beat Koopa The Quick In Zero Seconds
To obtain the second Power Star in Bob-omb Battlefield, you must race Koopa the Quick to the top of the mountain and reach the flagpole. Since it is a footrace, you will be disqualified if you blast yourself to the mountain's peak with a cannon. (For some reason, the speedy turtle is totally okay with you using the warp to teleport to the summit.)
The race itself is relatively easy and the average player can easily defeat Koopa the Quick in under a minute. But due to a simple glitch, you can easily beat rapid reptile in 0.00 seconds. After obtaining the Winged Cap, fly towards the Koopa before diving into the cannon beside him.
Blast yourself to the cannon in front and then use that one to shoot yourself at the mountaintop's flagpole. The second you set foot on the ground, it will automatically trigger Koopa the Quick's challenge. But since you are beside the finish line, the race ends immediately after it begins.
However, if you use this method, Koopa the Quick will vanish from the level (I didn't peg him for the kind of guy to ragequit), meaning you are unable to obtain the Power Star.
