Super Mario Maker 2: 10 Best Levels You Need To Play
1. 1-1.exe Has Encountered An Error - P1D-3Q0-TQG
User: Oken
It all comes back to World 1-1, in the end.
1-1 will most probably be the Mario level everyone can reference, and also the first thing to be recreated in any game that allows it. What separates this for the thousands of cheap imitations though, is a corrupted twist.
Using one of the built-in filters, 1-1.exe has encountered an error really does feel like your Switch is somehow corrupting, and that is amplified once the blocks start appearing where they should, then the course becomes completely scrambled.
Nostalgia isn't always the best, but it certainly runs high in this course, and what Oken has managed to achieve with the tool here is truly something else. World 1-1 is definitely not the best Mario level out there, but for long term fans of the plumber, it holds a special place in our hearts.

Honourable Mention: The Dune Sea - 0SR-X8H-6HG
User: BRoy
Loosely attempting to recreate the barren wastes of Tatooine from Star Wars Return of the Jedi, The Dune Sea has Mario taking the role of Luke Skywalker as he attempts to take out Jabba The Hutt's stand in - Bowser The Hutt.
Before that boss fight can take place, however, Mario will have to journey through the Sarlac Pit, using precision timing, attempting nail-biting jumps and avoiding a few secret Goombas along the way.
Yes, this is a level of my creation, but if you can't shill your own levels from time to time, then what is the point?
