9. BEST: It's The Pits

Some of Super Mario Party's best minigames are Battle Royale-style last team standing affairs, and few are as giddily entertaining as It's the Pits.

The game sees players attempting to avoid a red light on a timer, which upon hitting zero will kill anyone standing within that illuminated sector.

Things get pretty hairy in the later stages as a second light is introduced, requiring a mastery of timing and a little dash of luck to survive (but not enough of the latter to be annoying).

This one's an absolute blast to play with pals, and is at least democratically destructive enough that it probably won't ruin your friendships.
