Super Nintendo World: 8 Bold Predictions For Universal's New Theme Park
2. Get Ready For A Yoshi Boat Ride
I've already detailed the possibility of a Donkey Kong minecart ride and a Mario Kart 8 ride. Realistically, that doesn't leave much money left for anything else. Super Nintendo World's budget is comparable to that of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. When that park first opened, it featured the main Hogwarts attraction, Flight of the Hippogriff and some smaller shows and experiences.
The Nintendo World concept art shows off an enormous, Yoshi-populated mountain, which will be home to the World's final main attraction. Whereas the Bowser's castle museum is likely to get into Nintendo's history in a more rigorous, informative way, the Yoshi ride will likely be more of a celebration of Mario's gaming past.
Think the "It's A Small World" ride from Disney but with Yoshis. Guests will board a boat and travel from room to room, exploring various Mario games and franchises, seeing huge, life-sized props of things from games like the original Super Mario Bros. all the way to Super Mario Galaxy and beyond.
Hell, there could even be singing like It's A Small World, too - remember how much singing the Yoshis did during Yoshi's Story?
