Super Nintendo World: 8 Bold Predictions For Universal's New Theme Park
3. There'll Be A Nintendo Museum Inside Bowser's Castle
Another of the most striking sights in the concept art is Bowser's castle. Compared to all of the brightly coloured buildings and attractions on display, the black/grey shadow of Bowser's castle looming in the corner is a welcome sight, lending a nice edge to the cheery, family friendly park.
Of course, it won't contain anything too intimidating (this is Nintendo after all), but it's still a cool inclusion.
But what might it contain? Well, while most predicted rides have some sort of basis in rumour or patent, there's nothing out there about Bowser's castle, but I think I can reason out its purpose.
Super Nintendo World will appeal both to children and adults alike, given Nintendo's lengthy and storied history. But given how many older teenagers and adults go to theme parks, Nintendo are likely to want to cater to older fans too, even if only in some small way. What better way to do this than through a celebration of the company's history?
Nintendo aren't coy about expressing fondness for the past and how far they've come, so there'll probably be a Nintendo museum inside, detailing the company's humble beginnings making playing cards all the way to Miyamoto's creation of Mario. A good park requires an attraction more casual and slower paced, and Nintendo knows it.
Plus, It'd make the most sense to put an attraction like this in Bowser's castle, given how it's the least likely thing to appeal directly to kids.
