Super Smash Bros. Switch: 10 Overpowered Characters It Must Fix
8. Mewtwo
There's more than one reason everyone wanted Mewtwo in the latest Smash- its super overpowered.
One of the biggest factors that makes Mewtwo special is its floaty movements. Despite being quite a big character, Mewtwo's aerial options are almost limitless because its jumps leave him in the air for such a long time. Combine that with the massive attack range of its aerials utilising its tail, and you have a fighter who can dominate the air.
Mewtwo is no slouch when it comes to his special moves and combos either. With the ability to freeze opponents in place and confuse them, Mewtwo can be an annoying character to fight against if only for it's unpredictability. A chargeable projectile also makes it difficult to know when to attack Mewtwo. Setting up all of these attacks with some of the best throws in the game makes Mewtwo an easy contender on this list.
Mewtwo even takes one of Sheik's most overpowered moves for it's recovery, which allows it to teleport through the air with ease. Combine all of this and Mewtwo has easily become one of the most popular and overpowered characters in the roster.
