1. Palutena
It is common knowledge that in the world of gaming there is a heavy slant towards male heroes and usable characters. So it can be said for the Super Smash Bros series, thus the introduction of this 'Kid Icarus' character would help restore the balance slightly and give Princess Peach some additional girl power to rival the guys. The other reason Palutena would appeal is due to her magical nature and ability to cast spells, which would give Namco additional ways to freshen up the gameplay. She can grant the gift of flight, transform people, make potions and has the more obvious offensive spells in her arsenal making her a different option to go for when teaming up against other gamers. So that is my list of characters which would make for interesting gameplay in the next addition of Super Smash Bros due out in 2014. I could have written this list three times over, especially with retro characters such as Kage, Prince Valiant, Paperboy and Sky Kid to name but a few. The question I'd love to pose is: If you could take a character from the 'Nintendo' universe and add them to the game, who would they be? Get commenting!
