Superman: 10 DC Games Rocksteady Should Make Instead

1. Static

Static Shock: Rebirth of the Cool
DC Comics

Created by the late, great Dwayne McDuffie along with Milestone founders Denys Cowan, Michael Davis and Derek Dingle, Static is easily one of DC's greatest characters and one who would translate to an Arkham title with great ease.

Gifted with electrical powers after the Big Bang - an event that transformed dozens of ordinary humans in Dakota City into superheroes and villains - Virgil Hawkins is a high schooler by day, and a hero by night. Comparisons to Spider-Man are apt in this case, as Milestone made an effort to make the DC Universe a more representative and relatable one.

Even if you aren't familiar with the character's comics, his animated series - which aired between the years of 2000 and 2004 - garnered a massive following. McDuffie helmed the show, and it led to a resurgence for the character in the comics as well, meaning that even if you haven't read the comics, the show still provides a good idea of what the hero's like.

With flight, electricity and a brand new world to explore, making Static feature in a game of his own really is a no-brainer. Make it happen, Rocksteady!
